Collection of specimen.

Fixation

Processing and embedding 

In the embeddings process the tissue is surrounded in a molten medium by using a mould subsequent this medium is solidified to make a block for cutting thin section of tissue.

Section cutting 

Sectioning is the process of cutting tissue in to the slices.

Staining 

A technique which is used to enhance and contrast a biological specimen at the microscopic level.

Microscopic examination

Microscopy is the technical field of using microscope to view objects and area's of objects that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
